i think the most important question is 'do you have any work experience'?

No program guarantees a job right away after graduation. Unfortunately, work experience does play a major role.

Consider your work experience and how it relates to your educational goals. If your program is completely different from what you have done in the past, it would be just like starting new with 0 experience. If its all relative, you do have something to put on your resume and will have a somewhat easier time in finding a job.

If you have no previous work experience, then its good to be considering the market status when picking a program.
Diploma courses are usually specific and will provide you with a limited skill set in a confined area. I think Masters in this case would provide knowledge of a variety of areas. In the end, that leaves you with more job areas to explore.

Also, depends on what your expectations are for jobs after the masters program. You said you found 0 jobs. what kind of jobs were you looking for? any program with 'public' in the title usually means for working in public service aka government. And govt jobs are not so easy to come around (trust me, i know).

Have you looked into Health informatics/ Health information Management?
Thanks for the info bro. I'll be pretty much starting afresh. Talking about experience... I'll have to work on similar jobs related to course to build up experience.

Now I have 2 questions regarding this::
1. If I work for free for some company/store/firm, does it count as experience or only paid jobs are counted as experience?
2. Is free volunteer work considered under work permit rules? I mean can i volunteer with organizations/stores for free for as many hours as i want to get desired experience as soon as possible or I can work limited 20hr/week only as per work permit rules and also follow OCWP guidelines...?

any work counts as experience, paid or not. Free work/ volunteering is also work experience. Think of it as an unpaid internship. As long as you can provide references, it counts as work experience.

Volunteering is work, but not in the sense that CIC defines work i.e. something you get paid for. You don't get paid when you volunteer, so you can volunteer without any limitations.

Co-op is also a good option to get relative work experience. For international students, co-op is a must since you get limited time after graduating to find a job and get some relative work experience. Finding a job can be a very daunting process and you always dont have the option of working in a directly relative field. So you have to account for that. fortunately, co-op experience makes it a lot easier.

so my advise is to find a program that has co-op available. But seriously, have you looked into Health Informatics? It's a rapidly growing field and jobs are abundant and in places like alberta, very well paying too. I work in the same field in BC and i have friends in the same field in Alberta making 6 figures.
