Hi friends,
I will be applying for University of Regina Master in human resource management program.
The university admission criteria shows that I need to have 70% marks in the last degree.
In the past I have done two years BBA degree from Pakistan and an MBA from UWIC UK.
However I do not have 70% marks in my last degree. My percentage is around 60%– 65%....
On the basis of your experience do you think they will offer me the place in the Master in Human resource Management program.
Or
They will offer me the alternative place in some foundation course automatically without rejecting me for the MHRM program automatically.

The reason i am asking the question as i do not want to lose my $100 fee.

Will appreciate your prompt response

Best regards

admission to a course depends on various criteria, not only on UG marks. I believe you will give your resume with it. They will see your resume, job expr, UG transcripts, they will also weight the value of that degree, the extra curricular activities, your UG thesis paper, any publications AND your SOP. An awesome SOP can change a situation pretty drastically. So yeah, just apply, 65% mark is not that bad though.

In the application form, there are program choices, so if you do not get the chance to option 1, they review u for option 2 and then option 3. So i would suggest you to choose those option 2 and 3 programs tactfully.

Regards

Could u please suggest me some SOP which can help me out....I have done BBA two years from pakistan and then MBA General from UK....working as hour executive in local firm from last two years...and now just to gain specialisation in the field wants to go for MHRM..... Plz suggest

Hi , I have just checked the University of Regina Admission form. they only have option to choose one Program. Kindly recommend based on your experience do they offer alternative course i.e Foundation program /zero semester if someone doesn't fulfill the basic criteria.

my email is ug83@hotmail.com

Thank you Snake..just recived it...Really Appreciate your support.......Also please recommend based on my qualification and experience shall i apply in Master in Human Resource Management Program or Master Certificate in HRM,,,,,,,,

I have two years BBA-IT degree from Pakistan and 1.5 years MBA Degree from UK,,,

In the Application form it only allow me to choose one course.....

please suggest which one will be easier to get an admission.

regards

Looks like you have 14 years education while you started your MBA. till grade 12 + 2 year BBA-IT. How do you applied for MBA with that?

Anyway, total education now is 15.5 years, whereas universities ask for 16 years of education for Masters programs. Then again, you have a MBA from UK, its powerful too.

If I were you, i would apply for Masters in Human Resource. Please note that, I would apply for 2-3 uni more :D, not only one.

Regards
