Respected all,
This question is regarding my brither, he has done ielts last year, and 4 years gap after 12th, he is trying for work permit in australia or canada, one of his friend is suggesting him fir two years visa for work,,,
Please tell me is there anything like this,,,...
Plzzzzz,,,

In order to get a work permit for Canada, your brother first has to find an employer in Canada who is willing to offer him a full time job. That employer then needs to obtain an approved LMIA. This process costs the employer $1,000 + advertising costs and can many months to complete. Once your brother has a job offer and an approved LMIA - he can apply for a work permit. Yes - it's possible the work permit may be for two years.

But again, the first step is to secure a job offer in Canada.

Ok thankss sir,,
With gap, can he apply for job??
The cost u told, is to be paid by us to emloyer?? Or payment is to be made before offer or after offer,???

Sure - he can certainly apply for a job. Whether anyone will be willing to hire him is a completely different matter.

In general, it's very difficult to find an employer in Canada who is willing to go through the process of hiring a foreign worker. If your brother has little or no work experience, expect it to be even harder.

The $1,000 is paid by the employer. It's paid when the employer submits the LMIA application.
