Please provide some suggestions in my case:

Employer 1

- Worked for 14 months - 50 hours per week - in 2011, 2012 - Payment via Odesk.com (Now Upwork.com)
- Worked for 12 months again - Part time - 2014 - Payment via Elance.com (Now Upwork.com)

Problem: Employer is from Austria (running business from last 15 years) and is ready to help me in any ways. He is ready to give me reference letter and CIC can contact him at any time on phone or by mail. I do have mail communication between us of that time but I do not have any payment proof as Odesk and Elance merged and became Upwork.com & all payment records/work hours are lost now in Upwork.

Employer 2

- Working with him for last 3 years approx - 12 year old LLC in US - I complete the 3 years in this Oct.
- Payment proof - Paypal and Transferwise history
- Ready to give reference letter or any letter

In both cases, I do not have any appointment letter but they can provide that if needed.

So, what is it a legit work experience? what else should I ask from them to prove that I worked for them?

Employer 1 : If you can get a reference letter mentioning your salary, then salary slips can be ignored. Do include offer letter, appointment letter and Income tax documents for that year just to prove your salary part.

Appointment letter can legitimize your Work Experience. Go for it.
