question regarding USA Police Clearance Certificate Cover Letter

What do I write in Date required and Reason field of the cover letter for applying for PCC? I just recently sent the initial application to CIO and i guess they just received my package today. So which date ane what reason should I enter? Please advise!!

I have a reason/date that requires expeditious handling (optional):

Date Required: the date you need to submit the PCC to CIC (you may want to put in an earlier date, e.g. a date that's two weeks before your deadline)

Reason: Canada immigration

So assuming I receive my AOR 3 weeks from today, lets say by end of April, than I will need to send my PCC within 120 days starting from May 1st, so that will be Aug 31. So the best date I could write is Aug 15 2010. Please correct me if I am wrong??

I see, so you submitted your application without the PCC. You may put in an earlier date if you want so you'll have it ready once CIC requests for it. Normal processing times for PCC is 6 to 8 weeks.

1. Employer and Address
2. Aliases ( I don't have one)
3. Citizenship
4. Your No.
5. Armed Forces No. ( I dn't have any)
6. Miscellaneous No.
