Question regarding Supplementary Information – Travel List form (IMM 5562)

I have been on a Study Permit in Canada from September 2005 to December 2010, and a Post Graduate Work Permit from January 2011 onwards. So my country of residence in the last 7 years has been Canada. I have made several trips from Canada to my home country in the last 7 years. Do I need to include details of these trips? The form indicates to only indicate details of trips taken outside of your country of origin or of residence.

I am thinking I should only be including details of trips outside of Canada and my home country. Could someone please confirm this?

Yes, I did same..

Sep 2005 - MMM YYYY : Came to Canada on Study visa (trip outside your country of origin)
MMM YYYY - MMM YYYY: Went on vacation to home country (trip outside your country of residence - Canada)
and so on .....

I did not find any information about this form in guide... wait for more replies..

Would you be including these details? If Canada is your current country of residence and you are travelling back and forth from Canada to your home country, I don't believe it should be included.

which one you believe is not required - 1 or 2 ?

1) Sep 2005 - MMM YYYY : Came to Canada on Study visa (trip outside your country of origin)

Both. The first is a trip from your country of origin to your country of residence. The second is a trip from your country of residence to your country of origin.


The form indicates to only indicate details of trips taken outside of your country of origin or of residence.
