Are you applying through SDS (Student Direct Stream) or non-SDS (which is a regular application)?

For the latter you should be fine. In the very worst case you need to defer if you're not getting your visa in time

SDS is only available for some countries. It's supposed to be faster that regular applications, but I've read in this forum that in these times it's been all the opposite.
