We are just about ready to mail our Outland application in.
My Canadian husband and sponsor shows a 30 percent higher net income on his T1 from 2014 than what we show he received in the period October 1, 2014 thru Oct. 1, 2015. We added up his direct deposits to come up with the amount. He did take off a lot more time from work that was unpaid than the year before.
Since we are mailing the forms on the 1st of October or a few days later, we are listing his net income for the Oct. 2014 to Octo 2015 time period. But the T1 forms are from the calendar year 2014.
Is this going to be a problem or red flag?
Thank you for your help.
