Question regarding RO Obligation time spent outside canada

Hi all

i am filing to renew my pr card and I have a question in RO Obligation
Have you been accompanying a Canadian citizen who is your spouse or in case of a child while you were absent from canada?
last year I went to India with my child who is a Canadian citizen for about 3 months for a vacation so do I need to select yes or no?
And also I travelled with my husband back in 2019 and he is also pr holder for a vacation for 5 weeks ??
what exactly IRCC Is asking about?

Traveling With a Spouse or Partner or Parent Who is a Canadian Citizen


If a Permanent Resident accompanies a spouse or partner who is a Canadian citizen outside of Canada, then each day outside Canada is considered to be a day physically present in Canada.


A child Permanent Resident who is traveling with a parent who is a Canadian citizen can accompany that parent outside of Canada and be considered physically present in Canada for calculating the 730-day requirement.


Traveling With a Spouse or Partner or Parent Who is a Permanent Resident


If a Permanent Resident accompanies a spouse or partner who is also a Permanent Resident outside of Canada, they will be considered physically present in Canada only if the spouse or partner is employed full-time by a Canadian business or in the public service of Canada or a province.

So, you should include the absences, even that they will not count towards your R.O., but because they were in fact absences. It doesn't much matter, since those ~17 weeks alone would not be an issue regarding your R.O. compliance.

Ok this question is for parents who work abroad for a Canadian business now I get it
Me or my husband work in Canada and those 3 months and 5 weeks were just a vacation and it considers to be absent and in reason I will select other and vacation
