Hello everyone,

Just started working on our outland spousal sponsorship and have a question regarding the relationship and sponsorship evaluation form. It asks if we are currently living together, followed by if we are not currently living together have we visited each other (provide dates, etc.).

Our situation: we are currently living together in Malaysia (past 2 years). I will be returning to Canada this month, completing and submitting the application, which means I will fill in that we are not currently living together. My question is what I should put in the section about visitations?

Thank you for your help :)

Just explain that you only recently started not living together, so you haven't even had a chance to visit yet (maybe mention if you have any future visits planned?). Write that you just lived together for two years.

If the only reason that you aren't currently living together is because you were obligated to travel and to return to Canada, then make sure to state that. You still consider yourselves living together, you're just temporarily separated due to travel and application processes.

Thank you for the replies, seems straight forward. Guess I'm just nervous about making and mistakes causing delays.

Thanks again :)
