Np & hope you ll find a way regarding this. No one is expert here so might be someone can advice in different way specially a person who faced this situation earlier. But i would say one thing when one person mess up with laws it make difficult for another fam members specially when someone have to apply for any country doesn't matter visitor, study, work permit, PR etc. Might be uno too everyone has to submit their whole fam details during immigration process cuz then they check history & status of each & every person specially parents, siblings. So plz you made a mistake once try not to do in future.

Your bruv got study permit cuz he didn't misrepresent bout your ban and might be when he applied WP either you was in States on study visa or you entered Canada with intention to go back to your country within 3 weeks as per you knew you won't go to States for further study. But now you can think with a cool mind too how it's gonna effect in future for any other members during any immigration process cuz you didn't finish your study in State as well as didn't go back to country in prescribe time which was declared by you. I dunno why you mess up your states study permit cuz that is more valuable than Canada.
