I have a question regarding what kind of financial entities CIC use as valid for the POF, I have an account in an Offical Bank of my country and another from a Financial Cooperative that is totally different from a Bank, can I use the money from the second one also?
For the proof of funds you can use any form of liquid cash, (Cash or any asset which you can convert to cash in almost no time). Bank Statements are the most powerful ones.
2) If your account in the Financial Cooperative will allow you to get your cash without any hurdles, then you can. The more proofs of funds you show the more better.
Source: I was refused for study visa this year and one of the objections were about funds "You have not satisfied me that you can study in Canada without working to pay your dues", I attached the more documents to show the proof of funds and then applied again, but unfortunately, this objection was rectified but the other one persists with the application (1. Travel History 2. Financial Ties in Canada and home country 3. Purpose )
