Dear All,

I am currently in L1 visa in US and my VISA is getting ended this year after which I cannot stay In US. I got Canadian PR couple of months back but not yet planned to go to Canada. My spouse is in H1 visa at US so I can be at H4 as a dependent. I got a job offer at Canada. If I travel to US frequently on H4 to meet my spouse and maintain my work at Canada, how will the time be counted (3 years) for getting Citizenship. If I will be travelling back and forth to US, how the time for Citizenship will be counted ?

Thanks for all your inputs.

For citizenship you must spend (365 x 3)days on Canadian soil.

Thanks for all your inputs.

and you need those 3 years within a 4 year period. When you apply for citizenship, they will only look at the 4 years previous to your application.
