Question regarding Police Certificate

Hello people. I just received my Police Certificate from RCMP. I was wondering if just an RCMP Background check letter inidicating that I do not have any criminal record is enough or do I need fingerprinting done too ?

As far as I know, fingerprinting is not required. But I want to make sure before I sent it off.

Fingerprinting is usually a pre-requisite of obtaining a police clearance and not a doc requirement for submission in relation to your application to CIC.

If you have obtained your RCMP certificate, that and any other PCCs required, would be enough to send to CIC.
