Hi, I have a very unique situation for which I would appreciate if someone can provide guidance.
So the PGP application is in process and its been almost 1.5 years which is within the timeframe. Parents are outside Canada at the moment.
Meanwhile, we are approaching a scenario where I ( the sponsor) could find a job outside Canada and if that happens, we could potentially relocate as a family from Canada to that country and file as non residents. Once we have done that, should we cancel the PGP application or should we let it continue as it might still take x number of years until the decision is made and we might later decide to return back to Canada specially if the decision is positive while cancelling would mean all the efforts done until this point will be wasted. One of the reasons to look for a job outside Canada to begin with was to be closer to parents and if their visa is approved while we are outside Canada, we might review our plans again and could actually come back so we dont want to cancel but still want to check if me filing as non resident could effect the application already in progress in anyways? Please assist with a best course of action here. TIA for your assistance.
