okay if u have one original just order a copy of ECA directly to OINP again. it will solve your problem.

I dont thin they will return if you order immidiately.

Do u mean to say you sent the original with the package? if it is you also need to send them a direct copy from WES. you can request for new ECA with one copy to yourself ( so that u get your original again) and one to OINP. forget the one u sent to them.
Well.. So the original one is the one that I got I first got. That is with me.
Based on that I got a duplicate copy issued at the same time I ordered one (maybe a soft copy) to be sent to OINP.
Then this duplicate copy that received in post, I put in my OINP application. ( not a photo copy)
I still have the first one(the original one)

Oh, also on the duplicate copy which I sent, I remember it says that one copy has been sent to OINP.

Impossible to relax these days with the way things get returned and rejected..
On top of that the wait is excruciatingly long....

But then again, it's not like anything else can be done...

Thanks to all that replied. I appreciate the time you took. :)

If it has been lost, you will not be able to do much, unless you have a copy of your old passport bio pages. In your case, it may not be a problem since it has been mentioned on your current passport that the old passport is reported missing. Did you submit an LOE for the same as part of your application package?
Dear Stanlee,

I guess i messed up, i didn't include the copy of my old passport(new passport is a recent one) with my oinp application pacakge which was sent some 50 days ago. Is there any way i can still salvage the situation?? Much worried :(

As per OINP requirement 'Your passport must have been valid for at least two years prior to submission of your nominee application. If your passport has not been valid for at least two years (i.e., the previous passport expired less than two years before the submission of the nominee application), then copies of all of the pages of your previous passport must also be included.'

According to OINP, one of the items mentioned with regard to the application package being incomplete is 'The required supporting documents are not provided'

If we are to go by the spirit of OINP Application Guide, your application package is incomplete. However, I would suggest that you send a polite email to OINP with a copy of your old passport requesting them to consider this document.
You can send an email to ontarionominee@ontario.ca and/or expressentry@ontario.ca. Please mention your EE Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code also in the email. I hope and wish they consider your request.

All the best!

Thanks for the reply. So should I send the email right away?would they consider the documents send after the package reached them? Much of a relief it would be to know if there is any case when such requests have been entertained by OINP.

I would look at it this way, as per the current trend AORs are sent after 100-120 days. Since you have sent your application 50 days back, I would suggest you send them the email now before they pick up your file for completeness check.

If you have not placed order for duplicate copy of your ECA Report, do that now and send the copy of the passport as well as part of this email to OINP. So when they start looking at your file, you would have already sent them the copy of your passport. Even if you have placed order for the duplicate copy of your ECA Report, still send out an email intimating them of the same along with copy of your passport.

In my opinion, this is the best that you can do now. All the best!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Please provide a copy of your entire passport:

The passport copy must include clear copies of each page including all blank pages, Temporary Resident Visas, entry stamps, and/or any other immigration stamps. You must also include copies of Work Permits, Study Permits, and/or any other Canadian immigration documents;

Your passport must have been valid for at least two years prior to submission of your nominee application. If your passport has not been valid for at least two years (i.e., the previous passport expired less than two years before the submission of the nominee application), then copies of all of the pages of your previous passport must also be included;

Your passport should be valid for at least two more years. If you are unable to renew your passport prior to applying to the program, you must apply with your current passport with an explanation of why your passport could not be renewed at the time of the application.

can anybody tell me how many blank pages would be required for Visa stamping?

I have done the same, however, I called the office, they advised to send it via courier.
