Hi

I am a Canadian Citizen sponsoring my wife outland and we are about to submit the papers in a week or two (waiting for fbi prints to come back) but meanwhile I am thinking to quit my job so i was wondering, if i quit my job before submitting or during the process of the application, will it have an impact on the application or is it fine?

i think it depends on your financial situation. i mean if you have lot of money in your saving and other investment accounts (any of you) then you can quit your job, its not a requirement to have a job.
but if your financial condition is not good, i think you shouldnt leave your job before sponsor approval. (you can after sponsor approval)
best of luck

That's not true. I am a student, have absolutely no income and sponsored my spouse and it went through without any issues. You only need to have a certain income when you sponsor relatives that are NOT your spouse, that's all...

i don't owe money to the government or have a student loan but i have credit if its what ur asking, i am considering the quit my job because its very stressful to the point it's affecting my health and when i saw a doctor recently he advised to quit or change what i currently do.
