Hello

I will be sending my application for spousal sponsor soon. I have my medical appointment on Saturday and was wondering what documents to carry with me? Would passport be enough?

As I have not applied for the spousal sponsorship yet, how would the doctor upload the medical report? Would the doctor not ask for a reference number?

Thanks

Passport, two photos of Canadian Id size, forms and what else I am missing

As carolbb23 said, passport and two Canadian sized passport photos is enough (I only need one photo, but maybe you'll need two).

After your medical, the doctor will upload the results in a database which CIC is connected to. The doctor will give you two pieces of paper, one of those will have a number on it. You need to send those papers to CIC (I recommend making a copy of them first). CIC will check the number on the papers you send against the database and then they'll have all your results! You don't need to provide the doctor with anything.

Not every doctor requires photos, so I suggest you call the office and ask before purchasing any.

Make sure to do your finger prints while your at if your in toronto my hubby actually went to Dr. Lyndon macharenhas and his office asked for forms pic passport cash or credit card or debit

Do not ask this forum this. Ask your doctor.

Different doctors using different systems and in different countries have different requirements. Simply "I'm going to my medical" is NOT going to get you a reliable answer.

I'm slightly unnerved that you have your medical in 2 days and you aren't clear on these things. I have mine tomorrow, and we established over the phone as I booked it exactly what I needed to bring (passport), and that there was no ref number yet due to being an upfront-medical spousal application. If you didn't cover these things when booking it, call them as soon as possible to make clear.

I agree last year when my husband did cic medical for inland sponsorship I told them straight out and they told us what we needed
