i received medical request yesterday..i will book appointment for next week...what should i know before i go for medical??...what do they check?..

should i be worried about anything??..any suggestions before i go..

i am so nervous ...

Medical exam for immigration includes the following:
1. Chest X-Ray
2. Medical exam
3. HIV Test
4. Syphilis Test

#1 is done to determine any past or present traces of TB
#2 is a regular physical exam by the physician along with questions regarding your habits
#3 & #4 are communicable diseases and hence need to be checked by blood test.

No need to be nervous. If there is abnormality, CIC will provide clear directions for next steps.
Medical exam is part of immigration process of every country now. These exams are routine.

Take your passport copy and Medical Request copy.

Nothing to worry,
Sleep well and Drink more water.

Some places they will allow only Cash payments.
