Hi guys, I am going to be applying for CEC through the job as a line cook as I am nearing the 1 year work experience requirement, however on the NOC description, it states requirements for employment in which I do not have.

https://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3...11&CVD=122376&Function=getVD&MLV=4&TVD=122372
  • Completion of secondary school is usually required.
  • Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks
    or
Completion of college or other program in cooking
    or
Several years of commercial cooking experience are required.
  • Trade certification is available, but voluntary, in all provinces and territories.
  • Red Seal endorsement is also available to qualified cooks upon successful completion of the interprovincial Red Seal examination.

It doesn't even say "usually required", instead it says "required".

Will everything still be okay? I haven't been able to sleep lately because of this. Thank you.

Don't worry about that, just submit the Letter of Employment that has all details of your work (job duties, salary, hours, etc.) and other proofs of 1 year employment as per requirements.
