My application was returned and they wrote the following in the letter:
1) A completed page 3 of the generic application form for Canada 1mm 0008 for the person you are sponsoring
2) For all requested forms questions must be answered in full, details must be provided for every month year since the age of 18, do not leave any gaps or blanks, Write none in the box if the question is not applicable to you, all forms must be sign and dated,
theres nothing else requested
the form I got back is complete, it has the date and signature, but what i don't understand is where to include the details from 18 years of age..on a separate sheet of paper???
[i dont understand where because the IMM 0008 doesn't have that kind of a question anywhere that information is written in the background declaration form..and that info is there already and they haven't asked for anything else except page 3 of the IMM 0008 and since we dont have any dependants the page 3 is very small the only sections are the 1) the highest level of education, 2) number of years of education, 3) Current occupation 4) Intended occupation 5) and 3 questions about language detail]
so why have they sent back the entire thing..we painstakingly and thoroughly went over everything and it really hurts to have it returned and get further delayed.
I am applying to sponsor my husband in UK london, I am a canadian citizen and he is on a work permit in UK which expires in december 2012, our app was recieved on feb 15 2012, we would have been in second stage if this didnt happen. I talked with a lawyer and he said there could be other mistakes..is that possible? i mean do they identify one mistake at a time so if lets say there were three things missing the application would be sent back 3 times and correct each mistake one by one? or is the lawyer trying to break my confidence and inflate a minor issue so that i surrender the entire case and pay him to do it for me. iam really frustrated and need some help please..
