Question Regarding Criminality / Post Interview

Hi,

I'm confused whether there is still a chance for me.

Applied for FSW (No criminality), interview required, interview approved. Medical is probably on its way
but after my last police certificate sent to visa office which is about 1 year ago, I was charged for shoplifting of an
item worth of 9 canadian dollar in an european country.

I'm not bothering you with the details but I am not that dumb to ruin my career for 9 dollar.
I was kind of told that it would be a very minor crime and does not go on police certificate for first timers
which was not correct. I decided to avoid court and pay the fee.

Anyway, it is now on my police certificate. Soon or late I will be asked for a new police certificate
before the visa is issued. Will this be considered as a single summary conviction and ignored? or because
it is of a hybrid type in Canada and it was occurred out of Canada, it will then be processed as an indictable
offence and my case rejected at this stage?

order your caips/gcms notes..if criminality is passed they will not ask for new police certificate..good luck to you..

also police certificates are only asked if you have lived in that country for 6 months or more..did u stay in that country for 6 months

Thank you for replying.

Yes, I have been to this country for more than 5 years, and it is the country of my residency.
I have sent them already two police certificates from this country and both were clear. Also clear from the previous
country of residency (more than 6 months).

I ordered caips 6-7 months for the interview. It shows criminality in progress (updated in the first half of 2011) and
till that time everything was clear.

Later I sent another PCC at the end of 2011 and it was clear too. The incident happened few weeks after.
Officer told me that your application is accepted and you will receive medical and probably they will require
a new PCC (the last one expires in Dec).

Any suggestion considering more details above? I don't have any problem explaining this to the officer but
not sure if he/she would care for the details.
It feels so bad to lose your career like that because of a 9 dollar piece of crap. I read that it probably
would have been no problem as it to be a single summary conviction but with the new hybrid law for
offences out of Canada, ...I'm so dumb =)
