question regarding chat logs

my spouse and i communicate using whatsapp an application on iphone/blackberrys/abdroid etc. I have our chat logs saved and i tried printing them out, and just one day it was 30 pages!!! How can i print out everything if one day was equal to 30 pages, any advice? I want this for
proof that our relationship is genuine and real.

Print a small sample of a few days spread out. Write a letter telling the vo that this is just a small selection of a few days throughout the year and you have more if they would like to see. Don't print out a full day. Just a piece of the conversation. Choose maybe 1 a month (depending on the length of your relationship thus far)

what happened with me was that i changed my phone so lost all my chat logs on the older phone because i didnt back up my phone using icloud. So i only have chat logs since two months ago but we speak every single day, i do have a recipet of me upgrading my phone on so and so date which was 2 months ago so can i explain to them that i lost all convos due to iphone upgrade and heres what i have since the last 2 months? also if its just a 2 months time of chat log how many samples should i provide?

So in that case then, choose a sample of maybe twice a week for the past two months (again just a sample of that day's convo, don't print 30 pages per day) and explain u have daily chats of they want to see more. Send along the receipt copy of it will make you feel better and also include an explanation regarding what happened to your old phone. It shouldn't be a problem and will help them to understand and also ease your nerves.

Yes, you can explain to them that you lost previous logs.

Honestly, I don't think they actually Read any of our chat logs. Mine came back untouched, in the same clip I sent them in. I guess they just see that it's there and tick a box.

Photos are way better evidence. Also, screenshots of Facebook showing our relationship as seen on Facebook looked like they had been looked at. Photos/images are worth a thousand words, I'd say.

it's not even necessary to provide any sections of the chat log if there is decent relationship proof otherwise. referencing them in theapplicaiton is all that's necessary. we didn't provide any communication logs, only wrote that we used it in the application. was never asked for additional proof of relationship.

agree with others that chat logs are near the bottom of the priority list for relationship proof. People have sent in hundreds of pages of skype chants only to find out that CIC ended up shredding most of it without reading it.

Sending in a few pages is fine. But don't stress out too much trying to get a much chat logs as possible.
