Hi everybody, i have a question i hope i can get answers to! I am from canada quebec, currently working in china and i married over there. I want to go back canada soon ( calgary) but would like to know, if i want to sponsor my wife, do i also need to do the quebec paper work visa even if we wont go there? Its really confusing! A Canadian citizen living outside Canada must show their intent to move back to Canada for CIC to approve.
You just need to show your intent to move back to a specific province that is not Quebec. I believe it is only the people who are currently in Quebec or who show intent to move to Quebec from outside Canada who have to go through QC's CSQ process.
