Hello again, I would like to briefly ask something about adding an additional page to the IMM 5669 form.

Questions 7 & 8 ask about education and personal history. Simply put, there is not enough space given to write down the appropriate information. In this case I understand that an additional page should be added. I tried the search function and a fairly thorough google search but with no results, so here it goes!

Should I write something specific in those empty spaces for question 7 & 8, since i'll be adding the additional page? I keep reading that leaving blank spaces is bad, so naturally I'm worried that if they see the blank space, they may for some reason overlook the fact that I added an additional page. Or am i just being overly paranoid about this, and should just attach the additional page, and follow the written instruction / format provided on the top of the form, and not worry about it.

also, im confused about the first question on the page, it goes like this.
Indicate whether you are:
A) principal applicant or
B) the spouse, common law partner or dependant child

To my knowledge the principal applicant IS my spouse, and im the sponsor. So arent the two the same thing? Forgive me if im missing something obvious here, but this has gotten me very confused. Which box should i check in this case?

As always, thank you guys!

Follow the instructions on the form. Write what you can in the space provided and continue on the additional page. Make sure to write the form and question number on the additional page, as you are not allowed to use staples.

IMM 5669 is a generic immigration form to Canada, and so it's not tailored perfectly to fit a sponsorship application. The principal applicant (person being sponsored) needs to fill out that form so check A) Principal Applicant.

Thanks for the timely response. The issue is that there would be many incomplete "blocks" or spaces in the table given on the pdf version because I cant fit any names in the "name of institution" section. For that reason i was wondering if it is acceptable to leave the entire table blank for questions 7 & 8 on the pdf version, and create the exact same table through MS word, and use that as the additional sheet with the full information.

Is there another workaround to this? Or am I overcomplicating things?

Thanks

I'm also preparing documents so my words should be taken with a grain of salt.

But I simply typed "Please refer to IMM 5669 Appendix for the complete record of personal history" in the table and left the rest of the lines blank.

If you can recall, where exactly did you write "Please refer to IMM 5669 Appendix for the complete record of personal history"?

I'm asking because neither question 7 nor 8 give anywhere near the amount of space required to even write "please refer to additional page" (the bold is how much it lets me type in even if i wanted to write that. I cant fit anything into any other table because all other questions aside from the address question, (# 12), dont apply to me and are marked as they should be, which is "none"

Simply put, im at a loss because i dont know if its OK to leave the entire table they provided blank, and supplement that with my own identical table with all the correct info on the additional page.

I suppose im overthinking this, im just going to put "additional page" into both tables that require more space, theres honestly nothing else i can do.

As usual, I greatly appreciate everyones help! I should probably rest now :S

You are just being too stressful...do as Idzawa as said. I did exactly like him and had no issues at all.
The spaces are enough to write whatever you want...across the lines.
Q7. Start writing from the 'Name of Instituion' column then across (horizontally). Q8: Start writing from the 'Activity' column then accross (horizontally).
Simply writing 'see additional' page is not a brilliant idea. What if the additional page for one reason or the other is no longer attached to the form when the immigration officer reviews it ?
Make sure the additional page is named accordingly as KelseyTVS said and enter the name on the table space on the form when referring to it..

thank you, I will most definitely do as you all suggest. Your certainly right about me being too stressful, this whole process has gotten to my head. I honestly have no idea how i'd manage if it wasn't for all of your help, couldn't thank you guys/gals enough!
