Hi all,

I have got a question reg. the Experience in Canada and whether it will be considered in my case mentioned below:

I have got work experience in Toronto, Canada for 1.5 years starting Jul 2010 to Jan 2012. Now can I apply under CEC category? Will my 1 year experience be considered?

Please clarify....

Within 3 years. That means 2011 june to jan 2012 was the only experience considered for cec now for you

If that is the case will I be able to apply under CEC or do I need to apply under normal FSWP category
You need 1 year of experience to qualify for CEC in the last three years. So you don't have enough to apply.

Thanks for the response. So I can only apply under FSWP category ...

Will my application get priority over others who submitted even before me since I have Canadian experience and I am submitting in FSWP?
OR
It only depends on the date when I filed the application?

Also does it count that I have total 14 years of experience as far as priority is concerned?

Please clarify. Thanks!

No - your FSW application won't get priority because you have Canadian experience.
No - your FSW application won't get priority because you have 14 years of experience.

No - you will not be on priority and there is no such thing as priority service.
All applications will be processed in the order they receive it regardless of your qualifications or experience.
