Question Police Clearance RCMP for inland applicant

Hello, I have EE BC PNP under CEC. I already got PCC from India as i came to Canada in 2012. My question is do i need to get the police clearance from Canada as well ?

I applied for RCMP Canadian criminal check on Nov 2nd and haven't yet received it. Does anyone know how long it generally takes to be delivered to your address here in Toronto
I called RCMP and they said they Processed my application On Nov 3.

I had previously applied for RCMP check on Oct 18th, 2016 but the mail did not get delivered to my address hence I had to redo it again. I am worried since my Work permit is expiring in 40 days.

I recevied ITA last week and have all the documents ready except the Canadian Criminal certificate
