Dear Friends,
I have a question to ask, CIC website updates weekly as total received application as on date is 500, does this mean that they are calculating the application received weekly wise or they are calculating after through check up on the eligibility criteria and then update the total received application. I have also heard that they are still checking those application which are received in the month of August which means suppose if i send my application in the 1st week of January, will they update the list based on my application or they are still figuring out the application received in the past months ? It's very much confusing. Seniors please answer at your earliest.
thanks in advance

Hi

I might be wrong but i think they update it once they have reviewed the file and know that its eligible for next stage because they are telling the application received in each category and if its full its full so if they update it on the basis of how many they have received rather than how many are eligible then this number will keep changing as they are rejecting the applications as well after reviewing. So if you send it in January they will review it and once its eligible for next stage they will add your application to the list as well.

Cheers

When you send your full docs to CIO they will check if you are eligible to apply or not like, they will check your documents , noc you are applying, your job duties etc. If everything is their and you meet the requirement they will send you the email stating that you have applied for the permanent residence and you meet the requirement and we will transfer your file to the visa office you stated in your application (this is 1st AOR). Then they will transfer your file to visa office and they will do the processing like background/security checks, employment verification.

Note: Before sending you the 1st AOR letter CIO will charge you the fees so you can keep checking if they have charged you the fees yet or not once fees is charged it means your AOR is not far away.

Dear friend,
I am clear that, the application which is gotten fully for processing ie eligible for processing, is sown as total no of applicacation.
Because, which application is not eligible, are backed with in 2-2.5 months.
Best of luck and happy new year.
