I have just received the original passport request from CIC. But I will leave US this weekend and plan to go back in mid June. As I need to go Canada in late June, I am afraid I may not be able to get my passport back if I mail my passport to them that time. So can I just go to the consulate and give my passport to them in person? If yes, how long it would take for me to take my passport back? Many thanks!
