It says on the CIC website that we should submit Schedule A as soon as we link our application after getting the acknowledgement email. I've seen postings here where people have received notification to upload their Schedule A. In our case, we received an email with our application number (I believe this is the acknowledgement email?), but there is no "notification" in the email to upload the Schedule A. Because of what I saw on the CIC website, I looked everywhere on my online account after I linked my application to just upload the Schedule A, but there's just no place to upload it (Upload button is nowhere to be found). Am I supposed to wait until specifically asked to upload the Schedule A, or should I use the IRCC Web form to submit the Schedule A?
Also, I realize you will usually be given a deadline to submit things (Schedule A, Medicals, etc., within 30 days from the date that you're asked for it). Just curious, what will happen if one of the deadlines is missed for some reason while the application is being processed?

All applicants over the age of 18 and all principal applicants (including a dependent child under the age of 18) must upload a validated electronic copy of this form within 30 days from the date of the acknowledgement email or letter.
To speed up processing and avoid delays, we strongly recommend that you:
•fill out this form electronically while waiting for your acknowledgement of receipt
•make sure the form is validated
•save a validated copy so it’s ready to upload to your online account as soon as you link your application
