Hello friends,
I have a question regarding flagpoling at rainbow bridge. I was the primary applicant of my PR and my wife was a dependent. We got our COPR issued on 13th May and got back our passports on 23rd May. I have a valid WP till next year but my wives WP expired on 24th May,2019. Since our COPR was approved before 24th I did not apply to extend her WP. Now if we do flagpoling at the rainbow bridge can the border officers deny my wife's entry back to Canada?
My idea is that when we are re entering Canada our new status would be PR , also her status expired after the COPR issue date so ideally there should not be any problem. Need your thoughts on this.
