Question on arrival of renewed student permit

I submitted an application for a new student permit and I received notification it was done by Dec.27th and they told me to wait 6 weeks until it arrives. It hasn't come in yet and I am concerned. How long should it be until it comes in? As well, if I have to call them, does it cost money to have them remail it to me?

I assume you are in Canada right now. If you don't get the study permit by mail in 6 weeks, call IRCC (after the 6 weeks) and you will be issued a new one free of charge. Good Luck!
