Hi All,

The Immigration website shows that 30hrs/Wk for CEC for a year. If I completed only 10 months and worked for 40hrs/Wk, Can I eligible?

Regarding Reference letter, If the company/Supervisor won't provide any letter, Shall I use the other form of documents like Transfer letter given by my employer while entering to Canada (Which has about my NOC code, roles and responsibilities, saying about 12 months term etc), WP LMO exempt letter ( Intra company transfer) and Pay stubs etc.?

Since my supervisor also not authorized to give some letter officially in my company letter head.

So, without employer's support, we can't apply for PR on CEC category?

Background: more than 15 yrs exp. , working as Mech engineer (NOC 2132), WP-1yr (Intra company transfer) from march 29th 2012 to March 30th 2013

Thanks in advance.

Is your employment legit? I know many engineers none of whom have ever had any issues getting a standard simple reference letter!

No wonder cic is refusing these applications. Why would an employer provide all required paperwork to allow an employer to complete an intra company transfer but not provide them with a simple non binding reference letter for a pr application?

The entire scenario, that is currently flooding this forum, screams bogus! Something just doesn't seem right!

JSM, thx for reply. Read my post again.

Everything legal. Got LMO exempt and My company has around 2000 employees.

The employer not willing to provide or support PR since they wanted me to go back to my home country and work there.

Since they may loose me if I get PR.

I also don't want to be with same employer and looking for better job. :)

No - you can't apply now. You must complete one year of work experience.

Hi,

The answer would be "No". You'll still need to work for 2 more months before you are eligible to apply.
