My education certificate is on a different specialisation other than the category of my application, do you think the application will be accepted ?

Yes.

That happens with many of us, Anil Kumble was an Engineer, so was Srinath, and Harsha Bhogle ? The examples are many. What matters is the education, and the relevant work experience, and also the NOC you are applying in to =)) ;D

Don't worry abt it friend. Your specialization according to a diploma is not important. Your actual working exprerience is that really matters.
