If my spouse is sponsored by his parents before (3 years ago), Question in Part B - 4. Term Previous Realationship

Have you previously been sponsored youeself for permanent residence?

I have to answer YES or NO? if yes, will it affect my app?

Please help me.

YES. He was sponsored.
CIC will figure out that he was sponsored by his parents anyways. So if you lie, and say no, they will know that. And you do not want to lie to CIC, right?

He was sponsored by his parents.
