Question for all BOWP holders with spouse

Hi, for those applied for BOWP and OWP for spouse and successfully received them, what's the case type written on your spouse's work permit?

I know for BOWP, it's 27. Since I live in Montreal, RAMQ won't let me renew my health insurance without the combination of CSQ and BOWP.
Since I have two babies under my care, they would lose health insurance as well. However, if the spouse's case type is not 27, there might be some hope.

Hi When i was on closed work permit and applied open work permit for my spouse. that time in my spouse open work prmit case type mentioned was 20. Once i filed PR and applied for BOWP for myself and my spouse that time I see the case type mentioned in my spouse work permit is 27. I am in ontario and my ohip is renewed without any questions based on the work permit.

Thanks Roy. I suppose you are the principal applicant for PR and BOWP? If so, my spouse would get a 27-case type work permit as well, which is not good for our renewal. Probably need to move to Ontario then.
