Question: Change address before receive AOR from CIC

Hello, I submitted application to CIC (AINP) on 3/15 and check just cashed on 4/7. We moved to Calgary last week with work permit visa. On my application form I put living in the old address in US till April. My question--Should I submit changing address to CIC before receiving AOR or after AOR and getting file #? Thanks.

I think you have to wait for the AOR. I cannot think of how you could do it without a file-number (but that doesn't mean it cannot be done).

You should be fine sending it after you receive your AOR. I hope you have someone checking your mail at your old address.

Thank you anewhope, I changed my address to a friend of mine's with local USPS in US, so I hope my friend will be able to get the letter from Bufflo. The only thing is on my application, I put the date to live in the old address is till April/2010, and I hope it won't cause problem if I don't fax or e-mail Bufflo to change address in time even without AOR.

Who receives the AOR mail from CIC is it the represnting Law firm (if one appointed) or the applicant?

I didn't use law firm.
