Question: Can I scan updated Scheduled A Background Check & have her mom send?

We have submitted our application and my wife just got an email asking her to send in the criminal background checks and an updated Schedule A Background Check.

We applied out of country but my wife is currently in Canada on her tourist visa staying with me while the visa is processed. Can we just print and sign the form here and then scan it and email it to my wife's Mom in Colombia and have her mail it from there? (just to save money) or do they need the original of the application signed or would a scanned copy in color be the same thing?

just trying to avoid having to spend more money than needed...

You can scan and send the updated form. No need to mail Just did this.

Just upload it using a Case Specific Enquiry. Then it's there 'immediately' (they won't get to it for 10 days; better than the 30 it takes Mississauga to acknowledge mail).
