Question about welder

Is there anyone here in the forum that submitted pr under cec with an noc of a welder. My brother is a welder and he wants to apply for cec this june, he wants to know if cic needs a provincial certificate as a welder. He is living in saskatchewan. Also if anyone can share what would be the requirements if he will submit pr app under cec with an noc code of a welder. Thank you. Hope you can help me.

Welder is NOC 7237, Skill Level B.

According to the NOC, the trade certification is only required in Alberta.

He would have to meet the requirements for skill level B, as well as be within the 200 application cap.

Thank you jes_on..so this means his good to go for cec then..
He already pass the language requirements as he had score all 6 and up..
