Hi all,

I have a question regarding international student visa. Assume the following Circumstances: currently, i am studying in Seneca college and i am graduating on 17th of April. I have both, Student Visa and Study Permit (both of these documents expire on may 31st).

After graduation i am going to visit St. Petersburg for 2 weeks (from May 2 till May 17) and then come back to Canada.

Also, before leaving Canada on May 2nd , i am going to apply for Post-Graduation Work Permit in order to stay in the country and find a job.

The question itself is the following: Will i be allowed to enter the country on May 17th, assuming that upon my arrival to Canada, my student visa expires in 14 days BUT i have documents that proof the fact that i applied for Post-Graduation Work Permit and now i'm waiting for this Permit!

Thank you in advance, if you need to clarify some points - dont hesitate at all to ask me!

Wouldn't be a problem as long as your visa is valid. Even if they ask you ( which is very rare ) show them the proofs that you have applied PG work permit. Also you can apply for PG permit right after your graduation online, Only process only takes 15 days or so and if you have it before 17th May then have somebody to courier you St. Peters... :)
