Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and since I've gotten here I've heard all sorts of new terms and am confused as to what they mean.

What does visa exempt and non visa exempt mean?

My husband does NOT need a visa to enter Canada, what does that make him?

Thanks for all the help guys! ;D

as a visa exempt, you will not asked passport to stamp visa ou will just get your copr for pr processing usual non exempt countrty need passort to get a visa entry to be stamp on

yes. You're going through the London office (I suppose!), which was my VO as well. AS your husband doesn't require a visa to enter Canada, he won't be asked to send his passport. Once the COPR (confirmation of PR) is ready, they will send it by post to the "mailing address" you indicated in your application. 2 copies - one with a picture, and one without. Then you need to "land" as a PR, all you need is the passport + the COPR, and that's it.
There is a London thread if you want to join, and wait together with other applicants! http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/thread-for-outland-london-uk-applications-t49436.9075.html
Good luck,
