Hi,
Firstly, thank u guys on helping everyone with their doubts and questions..u guys are doing a great job.
My work permit was to expire on 2 Jan 2013 and inorder to extend my stay in Canada I decided to go back to school after my work permit expires. Therefore I got a offer letter for January 2013 intake and also got my study permit and student visa respectively. However since CIC started the open bridging work permit for applicants who have applied for PR, I applied for the open bridging work permit, since I have applied for PR and received my AOR. Therefore, I withdrew my application from the college and now I am waiting for my work permit to get processed.
My question is would it be a problem to come back to Canada, if I want to travel to my home country for 6 weeks and come back on a student visa, and if till then my work permit is not processed? Would the officials at the airport wonder that how come I am on a student visa and travelling, when technically I should be in school.
I hope I have been able to explain my situation.Replies would be appreciated. Thanks
