Question about ticket.

So my wife and kids has a multiple visa. they came here last September so she can try to apply for a student visa and we bought them a two-way ticket for 3 months but the return ticket was never used. now that her student application is on process. she needed to go back home and leave or kids here with me to give her biometrics. so we bought her a two-way ticket . canada - philippines / philippines - canada. so is hse going to have a problem going back here in canada because basically he doesnt have a return ticket to his home country?

Since there is an unused flight from the previous ticket, why not use it before it gets expires? This way, you can buy a new two way ticket: Phillipinnes -> Canada -> Phillipinnes to have a return ticket to her home country.

Anyways, can't you buy a multi destination ticket instead?

thank you for your reply. unfortunately. the return ticket is last november 13(3months from arrival) the extension of the ticket that time is rediculous it was more expensive than buying a single ticket so we decided to just let it be. ut then this biometric rule came dec31.


sorry i have no idea what is multi destination ticket.

edit: btw she is already in the Phillipines, and her return ticket is on March25. But it migt get extended because she doesnt receive her biometrics request letter yet.

If she doesn’t have student visa by the time she returns, she will need a return ticket or an onward ticket to somewhere she has a valid visa. The airlines won’t let her board without onward travel from Canada with a TRV.
