Question about the processing time

Hi guys,

I received the invitation last December, did my upfront medical exam in January then submitted the application in February,

However, they contacted me before I submit my application asking for additional medical information based on my upfront medical exam results, which I submitted at the beginning of March, till now I haven't see any updated to my medical exam results, it says "We are reviewing your medical exam results" on my application page,

So I have a couple of questions:

1-Is it normal to take all that time?

2-Will that affect the total time of the application processing? I mean do they assess the application itself in paralel with assessing the medical exam? or they will still start assessing the application after the medical exam results come out?

What's the current status of your application? Did you consider ordering GCMS notes? It might give you a better understanding of your case.

The current status is as I said above, "we are reviewing the results of your medical exam"...and I don't know what GCMS is...but the most thing I care about is the timing, are they processing the application itself in parallel? or all this time is just wasted waiting the medical decision?

what was the status of your medical before?It was passed and went to reviewing the result of your medical.

no, it was "you don't need a medical exam at this time" then it became "we are reviewing the results of your medical exam"

Better call to cic and ask the status of your medical status because it is so long,it never went to passed,the people whose medical is going to be expired then their status should be same as yours,i have same as yours now.so planing to call tomorrow.

I did call in march, before it even changes to the current status, and they told me don't worry that's normal, it may take up to July till you find a final decision,
So, I'm not really worried about that, I'm more worried about timing, I really need to get the PR before October because of the tuition fees of my school, will make a huge difference..
