Hi everyone
Would CIC ask me a proof if I file that I and my wife are legally separated. By the way, what they mean LEGALLY here?
Thanks

You are considered legally separated after you have had a relationship breakdown with no hope of reconciliation, _and_ you have lived separately and apart for a minimum of 90 days.

Generally the proof of separation would be a separation agreement signed in front of a witness. There may be other proofs, but I am not sure.
