question about study and work permit. help needed

hey, i am calling all knowledgeble people in this area. my sister will be landing in canada fall 2017 , does she has to wait untill semester start to travel or can she travel as soon as she get study permit?
if yes, can she work untill semester start or she needs to wait till university starts to be able to work.

she will be a full time student.

No she cannot work until semester starts.

You probably already know this, but make sure she knows she cannot work full time off-campus. She would need a work permit in this case.
