Hi
Please let me know, normally the officer take the RQ at the test day or send later? Which one is more common. If the officer would like to send RQ, normally how long after the test day, he/she send?

Few ppl mentioned in posts, some got on spot and some after the test, there is no set pattern RQ's.
I took my test last month and saw few ppl were getting RQ's there.

Mary,

Not to be controversial - but when you recall from memory was there any pattern in what type of people might have been getting RQs ? Just curious, thats all. Any gut impressions or observations.

Dont worry we will not take that as a value judgement or something set in stone. But just thought it might be interesting to ask. Thanks...I am sure you understand the general nature of the question. Thanks in advance !

Since i was sitting close to the officer window ;D
My observations are
"People who had lots of entry/exits specially non-English stamps,
If one is unemployed, they were asking lots of questions how you make living, proof if living in Canada, if stayed out of Canada for too long, And one obvious
if valid US work visas were there"
I believe i will get RQ since i was working in US till 2008(H1 expired in 2008) after that i moved to Canada and working full time since then but i don't have entry stamp in
my passport(2008), i saw the officer writing"unable to verify absence from Canada " but its not my fault if they don't stamp passports at border
After moving back to Canada i only went to buffalo for 1 day for shopping :-[ no other travel
I already ordered the OHIP record, since it takes 4 weeks in case they ask for this, i am also thinking to order border records and have everything handy....

I took my test on Feb 15th 2012.

My observation was, lot of questions for the people who were in US before and still has valid visa stamped in their passports.

My wife travelled to US on B1/ B2 visa(visitor) and was able to verify the exit/entry stamp as she travelled by Air.

So I guess RQ will be based on lot entry/exit stamps in passport. This is just my observation.

Thanks.

Hi
Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I have more question.
Is there any linkage between failing in test and sending RQ or not?
On the other word, failing in test causes to sending RQ or not?
