Question about Review of eligibility/background check in MyCIC account

Hi everyone,

I am waiting to see if I get SA approval at this time. On MyCIC account, is it usual to see your status with:

Background check: in progress

but

Review of eligibility: not started

I think I was reading in the Britishexpats.com forum that it said usually both should be indicated as being in progress at the same time.

I was just able to link my application to my account on Feb. 22, so only a few days ago. I have not received an AOR1 email from CIC either.

Also when would they request for you to upload your schedule A background check and any outstanding police certificates?

I think the british expats comments relate to progress once sponsor approval has been given. Both MyCIC and especially the new pack are very recent, so knowledge of what is 'normal' is scant. SA seems to be taking 2 - 4 weeks, so as long as you are within that, I wouldn't worry!
