yes u have to declare in sch 1 point 9.
also mention reason and attach the rejection letter. If not again u will get rejected for misrepresentation.

Are you sure you were you rejected? your case sounds more like as just to be returned only (as I have seen the letter that CIO usually attachs in returnings and it states lack of detail in job duties as a returning cause). I suggest you to double check your letter and If returned only, you don't have to say anything about it in any form. Just attach an extra sheet in schedule 3 economic classes with a detailed list of all your job duties for each job (as it says in the section) and resubmit your application.

I am kind of confused about my case.

they did not return my file, they only sent an Email that has a reference number.
this is what is says

Although this NOC code corresponds to the occupations specified in the instructions identified by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on 28 November 2008, the main duties that you have listed do not indicate that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties. As such, I am not satisfied that your experience corresponds to NOC 1111- Financial Auditors and Accountants.

For the reasons outlined above, your application does not meet the requirements of the Ministerial Instructions and your application is not eligible for processing.

Sorry, it is a rejection, so the problem was not the the job duties detailed. The problem was that the officer was not satified with the ones you have stated corresponds to that NOC. I don't know what impact might have for your resubmision if you just change your NOC duties for the ones the officer wants to see.

Shibuya has made a point there, maybe you should follow it.

I did as you and shibuya said and added the letter.
Since my husband is the main applicant he wrote the job duties and when i reread them and they were very technical and very specific to the company that he works in (ie using company terms instead of accounting terms). i put myself in the officers shoes and realized that he/she probably did not understand the JD description at all, because i doubt he/she is an accountant in the same company LOL
so i basically simplified the Job duties, they are the same but in very simple terms similar to but not the exact copy of the JD on the NOC page.
Hopefully 2nd time will be the charm
