Question about Proof of Funds with a Gift Deed

Let me begin by apologizing for posting a new thread about the subject. I know that there are countless queries on this matter but I could not find one that applied to someone from my country.
I will be receiving part of the money required by the Proof of Funds as a gift from my mother. I know that folks in India have a legal document called Gift Deed with a very particular wording on the document itself. My issue is that I'm not sure what kind of document would have the same legal implications here in Brazil. Does anyone know if a notarized letter from my mother with her personal data stating she is giving me the sum as a gift would suffice? Can I get the original letter in english or should we write it in portuguese and then ask for a certified translator to translate it?

I'm from Portugal and I am starting my PR application now and find myself with the exact same question.

I will receive money from my parents and I want to know if I can get a gift deed in English directly notarized or if it needs to be all in Portuguese and then get it translated.

It's probably a long shot but how did you do it in your application ?
